We have an open position available in the base maintenance team, for a B1/B2 licensed maintenance engineer. This position is a full-time, permanent position (40 hours per week) at our base maintenance facility, located at Maastricht Airport, The Netherlands.

Application description

As a B1 or B2 Engineer, you will be using your experience within the aircraft engineering environment for all maintenance activities, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in response to our customers’ requirements. You will be responsible for supervising, mentoring and delegating resources as the situation demands to ensure the smooth running of the operation, whilst meeting the Part-145 maintenance requirements, our internal processes and procedures, and our customer SLAs. Putting safety and quality first, you will ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures whilst carrying out aircraft maintenance within the limits of your company approvals. Whilst upholding the highest level of engineering standards and practices, you will assist in driving the team to deliver defect rectification and investigation, repair, overhaul and modifications. You will uphold our values and culture and mentor those under your leadership.

Task description / Responsibilities include

• Carry out maintenance and inspection of aircraft as defined in the SAMCO MOE and published procedures, using tools and approved test equipment on aircraft and associated equipment.
•Lead a team of Technicians and Mechanics in all aspects of Base Maintenance checks.
•Ensure correct completion of paperwork and forms as required in the Company MOE or published procedures.
•Keep the Base Maintenance Manager and Production Planners informed of the requirements and issues.
•Ensure that all maintenance documentation is fully completed, including that of the personnel allocated to assist and that all required reporting is performed in a timely manner.
•Evaluate and estimate work cards.
•Maintain standard engineering practices such as task cards, general husbandry, workplace cleanliness and FOD prevention/rectification measures.
•Recommend to the Base Maintenance Managers, Maintenance Manager, and their deputies, any improvements in working conditions, practices and procedure which may result in an improvement in efficiency and/or morale.
•Any other tasks and duties as reasonably required in accordance with the needs of the business.

Requirements

•EASA PART 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance License with at least 6 months suitable experience.
•Following type rating; Embraer ERJ190 Series.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail.
•A strong work ethic, reliable, self-motivated with a positive attitude, and very customer service oriented.
•Required to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime, as necessary.
