Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for B1/B2 licensed engineers for the LINE Maintenance department at the locations Copenhagen, Stockholm Arlanda Airport and African airports Lagos Nigeria, Kigali Rwanda, Entebbe, Uganda for long term contracts.

SAMCO Aircraft Maintenance is an independent maintenance facility for a large range of regional jet and turboprop aircraft. The company has about 300 employees, of which about 200 work at the home base facility, located at Maastricht Airport, and just under 100 at various airports across the world.

We have a great team of experienced technicians, supported by a strong support group consisting of various departments like warehouse, shipping, toolstore, purchasing, planning, engineering, ICT and finance.

Application description

Standard B1/B2 activities on various line stations abroad.

Task description / Responsibilities include

•Within the company’s scope of work, carry out independently all types of aircraft mechanic and/or avionic repairs and modifications on the aircraft.
•Defect rectification and other specialized repairs.
•Administration of performed tasks like signing off applicable aircraft and company documentation.
•Supervision and training of junior mechanic and/or avionic workers.
•Deputize during absence of the Senior Engineer.
•Keeping hangar and workshops clean.

Requirements

•In possession of an EASA part-66 B1 and/or B2 license on type. (depending on location FAA TC are also accepted.)
•Experience working in an Aviation MRO environment.
•Good English communication skills in writing and verbally.
•Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.
•Ability to work in a dynamic environment with deadlines.
•The applicant must be pro-active and customer focused.
•The applicant must be a team-player and have an accurate and conscientious work attitude.
•The applicant must have a flexible attitude, be willing to travel abroad and cover weekend and evening duties in a regular pattern and work on the shop floor.
